There is no wrong time to book a sculpting session at The Tox. But there are definitely moments when a session lands with even more impact — when your body is most ready to respond, or when you have a specific event horizon you’re building toward. Let’s talk strategy.
Before a Big Event
This is our most booked category, and for good reason. Whether you have a wedding, a black-tie gala, a birthday photoshoot, or a beach vacation coming up, arriving at that moment feeling your most contoured and refreshed is an entirely achievable goal — with the right lead time.
The general guidance:
- Start 3–4 weeks out with 2–3 sessions to establish a baseline
- Book a session 2–3 days before the event (not the day before — give your body 24–48 hours to settle)
- Avoid booking the morning of a big event; you want to be settled, not in transit
Many clients say they feel most noticeably sculpted and de-puffed in the 24–48 hour window after a session — which is the sweet spot to target for your event day. For a full breakdown of what to expect and when, see our post on how soon results appear.
After the Holidays (Or Any Indulgent Season)
You know the feeling: you’ve had a wonderful, food-forward, travel-heavy, celebration-filled stretch of time — and now your body feels like it needs a reset. This is one of the most common reasons clients walk through our doors in January, post-Thanksgiving, or after a long vacation.
A sculpting session in this window can help support your body’s natural lymphatic flow after a period of sluggishness. Many clients say they leave feeling lighter, less congested, and back in their body. Think of it as the bookend your body was asking for.
Around Your Cycle
For clients who experience hormonal bloating, timing a session around your cycle can make a noticeable difference in how the session feels and how impactful it is. Many clients have identified their personal “peak bloat” window and schedule accordingly. For the full cyclical-wellness angle, visit our post on hormonal bloating and lymphatic body sculpting.
Before or After Travel
Long flights and road trips are notorious for leaving the body feeling puffy, heavy, and stiff — the result of prolonged sitting, altitude, and dehydration. Many frequent travelers have made a pre- or post-travel Tox session part of their standard travel protocol.
Pre-travel: arrive at your destination feeling light, contoured, and ready.
Post-travel: shake off the puff and get back to feeling like yourself faster.
As Part of a Regular Wellness Rhythm
The best time to book is honestly: on a schedule. Clients who treat The Tox like a regular wellness appointment — monthly, bi-weekly, or weekly depending on their goals and lifestyle — tend to report the most consistent, satisfying outcomes. There’s no dramatic peak-and-valley; your body just stays supported.

What to Avoid Scheduling Around
A few timing notes worth keeping in mind:
- Avoid booking immediately after intense exercise when your body is in an inflamed state — give yourself a few hours
- If you’re in the acute phase of recovery from any procedure, check with your provider first before booking
- If you’re managing a health condition or are pregnant, speak with your doctor before scheduling
Our sessions are a non-medical wellness service, and we want every client to have the best possible experience.
