What is The Tox?

The Tox Technique is a blend of different modalities, set out to detoxify your body from the inside out. The Tox is a body contouring technique that work directly with your lymphatic and digestive system with our manual technique to give you a long lasting, full body sculpting detox.

What should I wear during my Tox session?

We recommend coming in comfortable clothing. We recommend women to wear A bra and thong during the treatment and for men to wear underwear for comfort and modesty.

What are the benefits of the Tox?

Because our technique works directly with your lymphatic system, the benefits are countless. Some of the most recognizable are less water retention and bloat, clearer mind and clearer skin, strengthened immunity, increased circulation, improved mood, healthier cells and tissues, decreased inflammation, faster metabolism and improved energy.

What should I do before and after I Tox?

Drink lots of water! Hydration is the best way to prepare and support the body’s natural detoxification. Avoid eating a heavy meal 90 minutes before you come into The Tox and avoid drinking water 30 minutes before your session to prevent discomfort during the treatment. Avoid processed foods and alcohol at least 12-24 hours after your treatment.

Is the Tox safe for everyone?

The Tox Technique is a gentle method that enhances the body’s natural detoxification process and is safe for generally all healthy people. However, as with everything, there are exceptions to the rule. Please inquire if you have a medical condition, prior to booking a session. Please acknowledge that by booking an appointment, you are releasing all liability from the tox and are responsible for your own medical decisions.

How often should I come to the Tox?

Everyone’s experience is unique, but we recommend bi-weekly for optimal results and maintenance. After your first session, our therapists (AKA Tox Goddesses) can give you a more customized treatment plan.

Are there are side effects to the tox technique?

It’s important to remember that every body is different. The Tox Technique is a detox method. Most of our lovely clients feel energized, refreshed and balanced after a tox treatment. Although it’s not common, some clients can experience detox symptoms such as aches, headache and fatigue. Bruising can also occur as with any technique that incorporates manual touch. We do recommend avoiding all blood thinners prior and following your tox appointment.
